God has given His people an incredible opportunity at this moment in history - the likes of which we may never see again in our lifetime - to share with the world what Jesus Christ has done in our lives. Most of us are carrying life reaching technology around in our hands at a time when the world is ready to be reached. Millions of people are glued to their screens in order to stay connected with everyone and everything in their lives. Can you imagine how many are searching for answers about God and looking for hope?
The world wants and needs to see a real God working in the lives of real, imperfect people, just like you and I. God used the lives of real, imperfect people throughout the pages of scripture to show us what He was able to do through the lives of His people - and He still desires to use imperfect men and women, boys and girls, to show the world what He is able to do in and through the lives of those who place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is time to remember what God has done for us and testify to the generations before us that He is still alive and at work in the lives of His people! He shows Himself to us in unexpected and sometimes miraculous ways, walks with us through the most difficult valleys, brings peace in the midst of storms, provides for our needs, protects us from the enemy, and heals us - mentally, emotionally and physically. The world needs to see how Jesus Christ impacts messy, hopeless, sinful, miserable lives full of shame and despair and pours out forgiveness, grace, mercy, hope, the security of eternity with Him and a new life in Him. We are the very real, imperfect people who must tell the world about our very real and personal Savior, Jesus Christ - and we now hold in our hands the incredible ability to send our testimony of all God has done out across the globe.
I believe that on February, 13, 2020, God gave me the task of encouraging the redeemed of the Lord to tell their story (Psalm 107:2 NIV). The message was clear and it is simple. It is time for God's people to stop hindering what He desires to do in taking our stories of faith and sending them out to accomplish what He has written them for - to be a witness for Jesus Christ and testify that He has sent His Son as Savior of the world (1 John 4:14). If we will be faithful to share what He has done in our lives, He will power the trajectory of our witness beyond what we can think or imagine. There is an urgency in the task before us to share the good new of Jesus Christ with all who will hear - and perhaps to that person who may not have another day to hear what can change their eternity.
The Trajectory Project has been created to help encourage and equip Christians to share their story of faith, for His glory - but this isn’t about The Trajectory Project or even how or where you share your story of God’s Grace in your life - it’s ALL about Jesus. The Trajectory Project is simply a resource and tool to be used in this process and a way to track how far your story goes and perhaps even give you the potential to see who’s life is impacted by your story. This can be done by sharing your story via the website or by tagging our page on Facebook and/or Instagram, using #thetrajectoryproject in your post. Ask your followers to keep your story going by sharing it with their friends and followers in order to network it out across the world. You can even ask people to comment with their city, state and/or country and track it's trajectory. Whether you share your story or not, each one of us can be a part of sending the Gospel message out into the world!
It’s time for God’s people step out in faith and flood the world with testimonies of His faithfulness and power. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are a new creation in Him - and you have a story to tell the world.
“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.” Psalm 107:1-3
Your story His glory #thetrajectoryproject
